Anger

Anger is an emotion many of us have felt. For some it happens within seconds for others it happens over a period of time.

Anger can be one of the most destructive emotions, ruining relationships, friendships and getting in the way of opportunities.

Anger can also be insightful.

No one is ever really just angry, there is always a reason behind anger, another feeling behind anger.

Anger can be because of insecurities, injustices, the feeling that you’re not being valued or listened to. Anger can be because there has been disregard for your feelings and how things may affect you.

Anger has never been a stand alone emotion.

And because of this, it is helpful to take a step back and ask yourself “why am I so angry?” and work on that. Some of us can deal with the reason behind our anger on our own, or we may need to seek professional help.

Don’t be angry with yourself for having these types of emotions and reactions, instead look at it as a call to action.
